Craft a paper plane
Materials Needed:
A piece of paper (letter size works well)
Steps:
1. Start with the Paper:
Lay the paper flat on a surface, oriented vertically.
2. Fold in Half:
Fold the paper in half lengthwise. Crease well, then unfold it to create a center line.
3. Create the Nose:
Fold the top two corners down to the center line to form a triangle.
4. Add More Folds:
Fold the new top edges down to the center line again, making the nose sharper.
5. Fold in Half:
Fold the plane in half along the original center crease, keeping the previous folds on the outside.
6. Create Wings:
Starting from the top, fold down each side to create wings. The wings should be even and extend out from the body.
7. Adjust the Wings:
Make sure the wings are symmetrical and adjust the angle if needed for better flight.
8. Final Touches:
Ensure all folds are creased sharply for better aerodynamics.
Tips:
Experiment with wing angles for different flight patterns.
Try different types of paper for varying results!
Now you’re ready to test your paper plane!
